Woodbridge woman suffers serious injuries after Porsche veers off Oakville roadway

Halton Regional Police are looking for anyone who may have witnessed a single vehicle collision in Oakville Sunday night (Nov. 20) that left a Woodbridge woman with serious injuries.

Police received a call at approximately 10:43 a.m. on Sunday notifying them of an accident that had just happened on Cornwall Road, some 300m east of Morrison Rd.

The initial investigation found that a 2016 Porsche sport utility vehicle was westbound on Cornwall Rd. when it left the roadway on the south side.

The Porsche would hit signage and a tree before coming to rest on its roof in a parking lot.

The lone driver of the vehicle, a 46 year old woman from Woodbridge, was taken to Hamilton General Hospital with serious injuries but is expected to survive.

The Collision Reconstruction Unit is overseeing the investigation.
