Women sought after $11,000 in jackets stolen from Oakville clothing store

The identity of two females is being sought after $11,000 in jackets were stolen on two instances from the same clothing store in Oakville Place.

Halton Regional Police are looking to the public’s help in identifying the two women after 18 men’s and women’s jackets in total were taken on July 30 and Aug. 20 from the L.L. Bean store, located at 240 Leighland Ave.

Police say the perpetrators were seen with a white hatchback vehicle.

The first woman is described by police as being 40 to 45 years old with tanned skin, an average build and dark hair. She was wearing a black top with black leggings, and white New Balance sneakers.

Police describe the second woman they are looking for as being between 50 to 55 years old, with an average build and tanned skin. She was wearing a black top with black leggings and had on white New Balance sneakers.
