Woman struck by vehicle in downtown Milton

A woman was struck by a vehicle in downtown Milton on Thursday night (Oct. 3).

The woman, reported to be in her 70s, was walking on George Street near Ontario Street South/Main Street around 8 p.m.

Emergency crews, including Milton Fire and Rescue Services and Halton Paramedic Services, are on the scene and attending to the woman.

Commuters in the area are asked to avoid the area and seek alternative routes.
