Woman rushed to hospital after Milton house fire

A woman was rushed to the hospital without vital signs after a house fire late Thursday (July 4) evening in Milton.

Emergency crews from both the Milton Fire & Rescue Services and the Halton Hills Fire Department responded to the blaze in a rural home located on First Line Nassagaweya around 8 p.m.

Upon their arrival, they discovered the home was on fire with heavy smoke pouring from it.

Firefighters would enter the residence and upon their search would discover a woman who was not showing any vital signs.

After performing CPR on the victim, she was rushed to a nearby hospital.
