Woman injured after gun fires in Burlington home

Halton Regional Police say they responded to a Burlington residence on Driftwood Dr for a “firearms discharge incident” Thursday afternoon.

Police say an adult female is recovering in hospital as a result of the incident.

They added there is no threat to public safety and no suspects are being sought.
