Wolverine gets special treatment from Burlington comic book artist

Burlington's Ken Lashley will be in town to sign copies of his new Wolverine comic cover.

Artist Ken Lashley will be the special guest for the launch of a new comic book series at a Burlington shop this weekend.

The Burlington-based Lashley will be at Comic Inspiration at 2004 Caroline Street for the ticketed event that runs from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 14.

The launch is for a new on-going series featuring Wolverine and Lashley is responsible for the creation of one of the variant covers for the first issue

A veteran of the comic book industry, Lashley has worked on a number of titles over the years for both industry giants Marvel and DC including books on Superwoman, Suicide Squad, Black Panther and X-Men.

As well as an artist, Lashley also has credits as a comic book writer and editor.

Comic Inspiration says the launch will include limited sales of the variant covers as well as an opportunity to meet with Lashley who will be signing autographs.
