Website that supports tech growth in Burlington gets a new look

A hub that supports the development of technology in Burlington has relaunched its website to provide more ease of use.

The redesigned TechPlace.ca now allows users to explore the programs and options that TechPlace offers as well as accepting membership applications.

An initiative led by Burlington Economic Development, TechPlace is a destination for new and growing technology companies to share experiences and acquire expertise while at the same time attracting entrepreneurs into the city.

Located at 5500 North Service Rd., TechPlace also provides space for resources and programming to local and international startups as well as onsite staff to assist all industries and sectors and deliver personalized support to businesses and collaborate with partners across the private and public sectors to maintain Burlington’s economy.

As for the redesigned website, users now have more interactive options for booking and updating memberships

“A lot of thought has gone into designing this website and we are very excited to finally share it with the community,” said Izabela Goclik, Manager of TechPlace and Innovation and Entrepreneurship at Burlington Economic Development. “We’ve created the new website with our members in mind, making it easier and more efficient to connect with us. We’ve also focused on showcasing what we do here at TechPlace, why it’s important, and how it contributes to the regional economy.”
