More and more people and businesses are heading to the Internet when it’s time to do business with the Town of Milton.

With that in mind, local officials want to make the experience as pleasant as possible. So they’re asking local residents about their experiences using Milton.ca with the goal of making it easier for users to find information and access online services.

The website is the Town’s most-used touchpoint for residents and businesses, according to the 2022 Citizen Engagement Survey, and had about 1.5 million visits in 2023.

“At the Town, we aim to enhance the customer service experience and be a digital-first organization,” said Troy McHarg, Milton’s commissioner of corporate services.

“The Town of Milton’s website is an important hub of online activity. We are improving Milton.ca so that users can more easily find information, access services and complete daily tasks. Throughout, we are making the user experience our top priority.”

Among the goals of the upgrade are:

  • Build a robust, scalable and secure website that can consistently and reliably help the Town deliver online services and share information
  • Improve the website’s performance and usability with updated functionalities, structure, format, navigation and content
  • Increase the delivery of online services and improve customer satisfaction by providing efficient, accessible, and user-friendly online services

Feedback on users’ experiences with Milton.ca will help guide how the Town improves online customer service, shares information and provides online services.

Visit Let’s Talk Milton to complete the survey before April 15, 2024.

The first 250 survey participants will receive a $10 coupon to participate in Town of Milton recreation.
