Watch: Teachers give ‘back to school’ advice to Oakville, Burlington, Halton Hills and Milton students

Heading back to school can be a stressful time for students and their families.

The end of summer and the winding down of vacation time means that families will be getting back into a new routine and come September — which is really the beginning of the new year for a lot of people — it can all be a bit overwhelming.

To help with the stress of the start of a new school year the Halton District School Board has prepared this short video to help with the big day.

The video, which can be watched via Twitter, offers advice from the people who know best about these things: classroom teachers who have experience dealing with young people, especially those who are going to school for the first time.
