Wallet stolen from child’s stroller at outdoor Halton Hills mall

The public’s assistance is required in helping to identify a man who allegedly stole a wallet from a child’s stroller at a Halton Hills outlet mall.

The incident took place around 6:30 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 16 at the Toronto Premium Outlets located at 13850 Steeles Avenue.

Halton Regional Police say the victim’s walled was taken from her child’s stroller while she was shopping.

The man then allegedly took a debit card out of the stolen wallet and made a purchase at the Shell Gas Bar located at 7540 Winston Churchill Boulevard in Mississauga.

The male perpetrator is described as being white and between 160- and 200-pounds. He was last seen wearing a black t-shirt, grey cargo pants, and a beige and white New York Yankees baseball hat.
