Vote for your favourite patio spot in Oakville

Few things scream summer like sitting at an outside patio enjoying a cold drink, grabbing a bite to eat, and taking in the hot, sunny weather.

Oakville certainly has its shares of outdoor patios to enjoy and here’s a chance for local residents to honour their favourite patio spot and share it with others.

Time is running out to cast your vote in the Talk of the Town Awards Best Patio category. Organized by Visit Oakville, the deadline for voting is Sunday, August 18.

“This category aims to spotlight both established and new venues offering visitors and residents the perfect opportunity to celebrate Oakville’s vibrant outdoor dining scene during the summer season,” said Visit Oakville.

Voting is easily. Simply write down the name of the local business you believe offers the best patio and the business with the most votes wins.

The winner and the runners-up will be announced over social media by Visit Oakville next week.

“Winners will be featured in Visit Oakville’s monthly newsletter and presented with a window decal, so everyone knows whose patio is the Talk of the Town,” added the local tourism website.

Participants can let everyone know who they voted for by using the #TOTT hashtag.
