Volunteers wanted for Oakville Community Spirit Awards committee

Individuals, organizations, businesses, and community groups who demonstrate ongoing leadership, dedication, and involvement in the community of Oakville deserve to be honoured and here’s your chance to help celebrate their great work.

The Town of Oakville is looking for “passionate and committed” volunteers to come on board its Community Spirit Awards Selection Committee for the 2022-2026 term.

As a committee member, you will help select nominees for the annual Community Spirit Awards from local residents who spend countless hours volunteering their time to make Oakville a better place to live, work and play.

To be eligible to volunteer on the selection committee, applicants must be a resident of Oakville, unless otherwise outlined in the Terms of Reference.

“We are looking for volunteers interested in promoting and strengthening the diversity and inclusiveness of our town,” said the Town of Oakville.
