And now, Burlington is looking for volunteers to serve on the panel.

“It’s important to provide city services and programs that reflect our diverse community,” reads the public invitation to potential panel members. “We want to hear all viewpoints. One of the ways the city can help capture the diverse voices is through establishing a new Community PanelThe representative feedback provided by residents on the panel will assist Burlington city council and staff to make decisions that best reflect the Burlington community.”

The opportunity to apply to be a volunteer on the panel is open to residents and Burlington business and property owners aged 14 years and older, of all genders, cultures, identities, and abilities. There is no limit to the number of panel members.
