The rollover of a truck in Burlington has sent the driver to the hospital as emergency crews work to clear the scene.
According to the OPP, the incident occurred this afternoon (Nov. 2) in the westbound lanes of Hwy. 407 just west of Appleby Line.
The driver of the vehicle was not seriously injured, according to reports, but was taken to hospital for observation.
Traffic through the area has been slowed but one lane remains open.
The OPP say the large crane truck first veered off the road and into the ditch but ended up back on the highway where it flipped onto its side.
A heavy equipped vehicle was brought in to pull the truck back up onto its wheels.
Police are investigating the cause of the accident.
All lanes are expected to reopen on the highway before rush hour.
