A pair of fires on a residential road in Burlington are under police investigation.

An early morning blaze on Monday, Dec. 4, on Lodi Road, near Dundas St. and Walker’s Line, saw three under-construction and unoccupied homes destroyed. Two other homes, one occupied, were also damaged, but no one was injured.

Halton police and the Fire Marshal are investigating the fire as well as another, on the street, two nights prior. That fire only caused minor damage.

Police are asking witnesses to come forward, along with anyone who observed suspicious activity, or who has dash cam footage of the area of Walker’s Line and Dundas St., or near the GO stop/407 carpool lot just west of that intersection.

Anyone with information regarding this investigation is asked to contact the 3 District Criminal Investigations Bureau at 905-825-4777, ext. 2316.

Tips can also be submitted anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 or at the website.
