Update: Burlington bus route affected by Hamilton transit strike

Passengers who use a major Burlington bus route have been affected by striking Hamilton transit workers.

All Route 1 Plains-Fairview bus stops shared with Hamilton Street Railway (HSR) are now closed due to the ongoing strike by the HSR driver’s union, ATU Local 107. Temporary stops are located nearby and have Burlington Transit signs.

List of temporarily relocated stops:

• York Boulevard at Locke Street, Stop 667
• York Boulevard, east of Queen Street, Stop 913
• York Boulevard at Bay Street, Stop 911
• York Boulevard at Park Street, Stop 912
• King Street at Bay Street, Stop 827
• Bay Street at Vine Street, Stop 682
• Cannon Street at Hess Street, Stop 684
• Cannon Street at Locke Street, Stop 828
