A driver on Hwy. 401 in Milton was allegedly threatened with a knife while trying to be a Good Samaritan.
Last Thursday, June 8, a driver on the 401 was flagged down by a man near a stopped vehicle on the Guelph Line westbound off ramp.
After pulling over to help, police say the man tried to sell him some jewelry. Realizing it was probably a scam, the alleged victim refused.
Police say the suspect got back in his vehicle. Another man in the car allegedly showed the victim a knife and made threatening gestures. The suspects then left the area.
Following an investigation, Halton police arrested two Oshawa men, 26 and 27, who are facing charges of possession of a dangerous weapon, uttering threats and theft under $5,000.
