The Town of Oakville has cancelled all school closure camps as of Tuesday (Nov. 8).

Those who booked school closure camps will be automatically refunded.
Over 55,000 Canadian Union of Public Employees (CUPE) education workers walked off the job Monday after mediated talks with the Ontario government broke down.
Ontario Public Service Employees Union (OPSEU) said its 8,000 education works also walked out in solidarity with CUPE employees.
In response, the Town of Oakville says it would support local families by offering parents limited camp opportunities for their kids during school closures.
