Town of Halton Hills hosting celebration for community volunteers

Community volunteers are invited to attend a celebration in their honour in Halton Hills.

The event, which is meant to celebrate the contributions of local volunteers who make Halton Hills a more caring, connected and compassionate community, will take place on Thursday, June 16, 2022.

The celebration will be hosted by the Town of Halton Hills and will feature entertainment, refreshments and games.

Guests are welcome to drop in anytime between 6:00 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. at Dominion Gardens Park.

“I look forward to seeing some new and familiar faces at this favourite, annual event,” said Mayor Rick Bonnette.

“Recognizing our volunteers is particularly important given the hardships that people have had to endure through the past two years of the pandemic. I am pleased we can gather for this wonderful celebration!”

The event is open to members of all ages who have volunteered in any way to the community in the last four years.
