Three teens facing assault charges after incident at Halton Hills McDonald’s

Three teenagers have been charged with assault following a weekend incident at a fast food restaurant in Halton Hills.
According to Halton police, a customer at the McDonald’s restaurant on Guelph St. in Georgetown was assaulted and had his food stolen by three males just past midnight Sunday morning.
According to police, a male victim was waiting inside the restaurant for his order to be called. When it was given to him, it’s alleged one of the male suspects took it from him.
When the victim confronted the teen, he was pushed and then jumped by the other suspects.
The victim suffered serious injuries and was transported to hospital, according to police.
The suspects fled on foot, but were tracked down by police.
Two 17-year-old young offenders, from Kitchener and Halton Hills, have been charged with assault cause bodily harm. A 19-year-old adult from Caledon has been charged with robbery, and assault.
