Recently, a pedestrian crossover was also installed at Maple Ave. and Woodward Ave.
As a result, the Town is reminding residents to remember to push the button to activate the flashing lights when crossing in this area.
Additionally, motorists are reminded that they must remain stopped until everyone has crossed all lanes of the road.
All pedestrian crossovers within the Town are marked by lines on the road, a clear place showing where motorists should stop, roadside signs and flashing lights in certain cases.
