August 23

Burlington:

Music from the Rooftop

Joseph Brant Museum will host the final “Music From the Rooftop” event featuring local musician Hayley Verrall. The evening includes live music, lawn games, complimentary iced tea and popcorn. Doors will open at 6:30 p.m., giving guests the chance to explore the museum’s galleries before the performance.

Burlington: 

Latin Festival

Experience the vibrant rhythms and colours of Latin America at this community festival. Whether you’re a salsa enthusiast, a foodie craving authentic Latin cuisine, or a family looking for a fun day out, the event offers something for everyone.

Oakville:

The Middle Eastern Expo

This event, happening for the first time at OE Banquet & Conference Centre, offers a vibrant celebration of Middle Eastern culture. Visitors can explore traditional clothing, enjoy authentic cuisine, experience enchanting fragrances, and connect with local and international businesses. Every child attending will receive a special goodie bag.

Candlelit Concert Series: Members of Oakville Symphony

Some songs include classics like Brahms’ Hungarian Dance no. 5, modern hits like Billie Eilish’s Bad Guy and Taylor Swift’s Wildest Dreams from Bridgerton and popular tunes like Coldplay’s Yellow and Dua Lipa’s Dance The Night.

Escape Coast Music Festival

Milton AfroJazz Fest

AfroJazz Fest, happening at Milton Community Sports Park, is a two-day event celebrating the beauty and diversity of African and Caribbean culture. The festival will feature a vibrant showcase of performing arts, music, food and activities for kids, offering a rich cultural experience for all attendees.

Milton Farmers’ Market
