Temporary patio disassembly to impact traffic in Burlington

A number of temporary outdoor patios are being disassembled this week in Burlington.
These outdoor extensions — and their sidewalk detours — have been in use over the summer season and have extended bar and restaurant operations.
However, due to the secondary nature of these expansions, they have collided with several roads in the Burlington area, and as a result, their disassembly will likely impact commuter traffic.
This month, we’re taking down the patios & sidewalk detours at:
🚧 Oct 17-19: Lakeshore Rd. at Brant St. and Elgin St. west of Brant St.
🚧 Oct 25: Brant St. from Elgin St. to Lakeshore Rd.For more info, go to https://t.co/5GB101v0lx. pic.twitter.com/8cbWfuFsqd

According to the City of Burlington, the following routes will potentially see some traffic delays due to the deconstruction of these temporary patios.
Oct. 16: John Street, from Pine Street to Lakeshore Road, and Pine Street from Elizabeth to Pearl Street.
Oct. 17 to 19: Lakeshore Road at Brant Street and Elgin Street west of Brant Street.
Oct. 25: Brant Street from Elgin Street to Lakeshore Road.
