Swifties can ‘Shake it off’ in Oakville ahead of Toronto concerts

Oakville is rolling out the carpet for Swifties looking for the “perfect getaway” before the big concert nights this fall.

With international music sensation Taylor Swift set to perform on Nov. 14 to 16 and Nov. 21 to 23 in Toronto, Visit Oakville is creating a series of Taylor Swift events that will make for a memorable time leading up to the highly anticipated concerts.

“Oakville is excited to welcome Taylor Swift fans this fall,” said Rebecca Edgar, Executive Director, Visit Oakville, the not-for-profit destination marketing organization which helps drive the local tourism industry. “With our stunning scenery, top-notch restaurants, and warm community spirit, we’re confident that Swifties will find Oakville to be the perfect place to unwind and enjoy the excitement surrounding the concerts.

“We’ve created a series of Taylor themed products and events leading up to the concerts that will make your visit truly special.”

• SOLD OUT – September 21 – 5:00 – 9:00 p.m. – Silent Disco – Taylor Swift – The Eras Tour at Towne Square.  Get ready to dance the night away at the Taylor Swift Themed Silent Disco: Eras Tour Edition. Join in for an unforgettable evening featuring a full Eras Tour playlist that spans Taylor’s iconic career, from her early hits to her latest chart-toppers. Special at 5:00 p.m. – Before the Silent Disco kicks off, join for a fun pre-event where a choreographer and dance instructor will teach you the moves to ‘Shake it Off.’

• September 18 until they sell out – Get ready for the concert with Film.Ca Cinemas exclusive Taylor Swift collectible cup and popcorn bucket! • November 1-30 – Fresh Kitchen + Juice Bar will feature the Shake It Off Combo. Inspired by Taylor Swift’s favourite comfort meal, a cheeseburger, fries, and chocolate shake. • November 14-23 – Get ready for a Swiftly fabulous time at The WORKS Oakville! They’re rolling out a special meal deal that’s “All Too Well”—enjoy a mouthwatering cheeseburger, crispy fries, and a creamy shake for a price that’s “22” (that’s $22, of course)!
