Suspects Charged After Toronto Police Raid Oakville Home

Three men are facing a combined 45 charges following a raid by Toronto police in Oakville in which guns, cash, drugs, and ammunition were seized.

A search warrant was executed at a condo near Speers Rd. and Kerr St. on Oct. 7 by officers, including the emergency task force.

The trio of suspects were cuffed, with investigators seizing two firearms, ammunition and magazines. In addition, police allege finding $27,663 in Canadian currency, drugs, and drug paraphernalia.

Liban Hussein, 23, of Toronto is charged with:

Deshawn Hibbert, 26, of Toronto is charged with:

1. Unauthorized possession of a firearm

2. Unauthorized possession of a firearm

3. Possession restricted weapon with ammunition

4. Possession restricted weapon with ammunition

5. Careless storage firearm

6. Careless storage firearm

7. Careless storage ammunition

8. Possession of prohibited device

9. Possession of prohibited device

10. Possession of firearm knowing unauthorized

11. Possession of firearm knowing unauthorized

12. Possession of firearm contrary to prohibition order

13. Possession of firearm contrary to prohibition order

14. Possession of ammunition contrary to prohibition order

18. Possession of proceeds of crime over $5,000

19. Possession for the purpose of a schedule 1 substance

Jamal Hibbert, 30, of Toronto, is charged with:

1. Unauthorized possession of a firearm

7. Careless storage ammunition

They appeared in court on Oct. 8.
