A child, a stroller, a knife and the need for some high-end fashion all led to criminal activity at the Toronto Premium Outlets in Halton Hills recently.

According to reports, two women were in the Tommy Hilfiger store pushing a child in a stroller around 7 p.m. on Nov. 11.

The women were spotted filling the stroller with clothes and then left the store without paying.

Information from Halton police indicates that once outside, the women were confronted by a store employee. That’s when one of the suspects pulled out a knife and warned the employee to back off.

There were no injuries and the women left the scene with the stolen goods.

Police are investigating.
