Still time to donate back-to-school items for Halton Hills students in need

Tomorrow is the deadline for anyone who wants to help out Halton Hills students in need.
The Georgetown Market Place’s Fill The Bus campaign, an annual initiative designed to provide essential back-to-school supplies for students in need, comes to a close Sunday, Aug. 20.
Donations are being accepted the school bus at centre court. The mall has teamed up with Links2Care for the program
The collected items will be distributed to students in need through Links2Care’s annual school supplies program.
The most needed new supplies are:
- backpacks (older students only please)
- binders (small only please)
- notebooks (spiral)
- paper (lined and quad)
- report covers
- lunch bags
- pencil cases (with 3 rings)
- pencils
- pens (blue, black and red)
- highlighters
- crayons
- pencil crayons
- markers (thick and thin)
- glue sticks
- erasers
- rulers
- scissors
- white glue
- geometry sets
- calculators (regular and scientific)
Financial donations are also welcome.
