One of Oakville’s most prominent outdoor revitalization projects is now nearing completion, as the brand-new Sixteen Mile Park is now open to the public.
Constructed as part of a massive effort to revitalize the area formerly known as North Park, this new playground/park is only one of several additions to the outdoor space — as a new sports field and cricket location opened this past May.
Upon completion, the project will also feature a community facility, library and sports centre, which are all scheduled to open at some point in 2025.
Get outside this weekend and enjoy the new Sixteen Mile park! Enjoy new featured amenities such as, a children’s playground, skateboard park, calisthenics workout space, bike pump track, bike repair station and more!
