Speedy driver caught doing 44 km/h over the limit in Milton

A driver who was clocked going more than 40 km/h over the posted speed limit in Milton was charged today.

Officers from the Milton/Halton Hills detachment of the Halton Regional Police caught a driver going 104 km/h in a posted 60 km/h zone.

In addition, police say the vehicle was uninsured.

Multiple charges were laid, the vehicle has been impounded for 14 days and the licence of the driver has been suspended for 30 days.
