Special event at Milton theatre will allow autistic kids to enjoy new Trolls movie

A special event that will allow Milton children on the autism spectrum to enjoy a movie in a theatre is being held Sunday, Dec. 10.
Milton Autism is hosting the free movie showing of Trolls Band Together at Cineplex Cinemas Milton from 9:45 a.m. until noon.
“This special movie event by Milton Autism is not just about watching Trolls Band Together, it’s an opportunity for children on the autism spectrum to engage in a social setting that is tailored to their needs, fostering a sense of community and belonging,” said a spokesperson for the organization.
Sound levels and lighting in the theatre will be adjusted to allow children with autism, many of whom have never seen a movie in a theatre, to better enjoy the experience.
