Some transit fares have increased in Milton

As of today (Jan 2), fees have increased for certain Milton Transit packages while the cost of a single fare will stay the same.

According to Milton Transit, the increase is necessary to offset increasing costs and the further expansion of services.

Here are the rates:

Adult Fares

• Cash fares – $4.25
• 10 Tickets – $35
• Monthly Pass – $94

Youth Fares (13-19)

• Cash fares – $4.25
• 10 Tickets – $26
• Monthly Pass $70

Senior Fares (65+)

• Cash fares – $4.25
• 10 Tickets – $25
• Monthly Pass $60

Conestoga College and Wilfrid Laurier University Term Pass

• Per term – $280

The Winter Term Pass will be available for purchase as of Dec. 1.  The Winter Term pass is exclusively available through the Token Transit app and students must have a valid Conestoga College or Wilfrid Laurier University email in order to receive the pass. Tickets and passes

Customers can purchase tickets and passes through the Token Transit mobile app or at open ticket agents. Alternatively, customers can use exact cash for payment upon boarding the bus.
