Slippery Burlington motorcyclists ignore cops and take off

Two motorcycle drivers managed to take off before the law caught up to them in two separate incidents in Burlington on Monday (June 13).

The first incident took place around 11:15 a.m. in the area of Northshore Blvd. and Indian Rd.

According to reports, what appeared to be a fake license plate on the motorbike was spotted but when the officer tried to make a traffic stop the biker sped off Niagara-bound on the QEW.

The operator of this motorcycle is described as wearing a black helmet with white stripes on the side, a red jacket, navy blue Adidas pants with white stripes down the sides, and orange Nike shoes with a black Nike logo. The motorcycle is of an unknown make/model with a red and white body and black wheels.

The second incident occurred a few hours later at 3:20 p.m. in the area of Guelph Line and Dundas St.

This time an officer saw a motorcycle with no license plate at all.

When the officer tried to make a stop, this biker too took off at a high rate of speed (estimate at 120 km/h) and was last seen heading eastbound on Derry Rd. in Milton.

The operator of this motorcycle is described as wearing a black and white helmet, a black hooded jacket and blue jeans. The motorcycle is a red sport bike (possibly a Kawasaki) with a modified exhaust.
