From magicians, food, and live entertainment to capping off festivities by filling the nighttime sky with an explosion of colourful fireworks, this year’s Canada Day celebration at Bronte Heritage Waterfront Park was certainly bigger.

But was it better?

The Town of Oakville is thanking everyone that celebrated Canada’s birthday with them.

“We had so much fun with you,” said a tweet on the Town’s social media X account.

Now it wants to hear what you thought, by taking its Special Events Survey.

“Help shape the future direction of events in Oakville,” the Town added.

The responses to the survey will help direct and give Oakville a road map of how to put together a special events plan for future events.

“Special events bring significant benefits to the community of Oakville,” said the Town. “They provide entertainment for residents, encourage community engagement, support community belonging, enhance community pride, support the local economy, and contribute positively to the high quality of life that community members enjoy.”

The survey can be completed in five minutes. The deadline to respond is July 8, 2024. To take the survey, visit here.
