Several Burlington bus stops closed during road construction

Construction along a busy Burlington route will force the closure of several bus stops for a lengthy period of time.
The construction beings today (May 1) on Tyandage Park Dr. and affects service on the Route 87 North Service Aldershot bus. The bus will continue on North Service Rd., turning right on Brant St. as it travels to Burlington GO.
There will be no service on Kerns Rd., Tyandaga Park Dr. or on Brant St., between Tyandaga Park Dr. and North Service Rd. Travellers are asked to use the stop on North Service Rd. at Kerns Dr. as the alternate. You can also take Route 2 as it travels south on Brant St. and connect with Route 87 at North Service Rd. or at Burlington GO.
The following bus stops will be closed during the detour:
- 1375 Kerns
- 1801 Kerns
- Kerns at Tyandaga Park
- Tyandaga Park at Fairway
- Tyandaga Park at Brant
- Brant at Amherst
- Brant at Mount Forest
- Brant at North Service
