Service changes on New Year’s Eve for Burlington Transit

Burlington Transit is extending bus service on several lines to accommodate revellers on New Year’s Eve.

The changes will apply to Route 1 Plains-Fairview and on all late-night routes.

• Route 1 Plains-Fairview will provide service every 30 minutes, with the last bus departing Hamilton at 1 a.m. and Appleby GO at 1:15 a.m.
• Route 50 Burlington South, 51 Burlington Northeast and 52 Burlington Northwest will leave Burlington GO every 60 minutes, from 8:56 p.m. to 12:56 a.m.

On Jan. 1, service will run on a limited basis. Follow this link to see what services are available along the route you want to take.

Regular Burlington Transit services will commence again on Jan. 2.
