The Town of Oakville continues to reach out to the local community before finalizing how a pair of neighbourhoods will be reshaped.

The second phase of public consultation for the Bronte Village and Kerr Village streetscape studies will incorporate feedback from sessions held earlier this year.

“This phase will focus on reviewing and refining the emerging streetscape concept plans, bringing the community one step closer to creating a more vibrant Oakville,” said a Town spokesperson.

“All residents are welcome to join this next round of consultations, whether attending for the first time or returning to continue the discussion.”

The public information sessions will begin with a presentation on the project, followed by small group discussions where residents will be invited to share comments and ideas on the project materials. No pre-registration is required.

The two identical Bronte Village-focused meetings are both Wednesday, Sept. 25. The first is 2:30 to 4:30 p.m. at Church of the Epiphany, 141 Bronte Rd. and the second is 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at Walton Memorial United Church, 2489 Lakeshore Rd. W.

The two identical Kerr Village-focused meetings are Thursday, Oct. 3, at Trafalgar Park Community Centre, 133 Rebecca St., the first from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m. and the second from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.

Additional opportunities to provide feedback will be available before the final plans are completed.
