Section of Oakville community centre closed next week

Those planning to drop into the River Oaks Community Centre next week may have to find nearby parking spots.

The Town of Oakville announced the repaving of the west parking lot at the community center from Oct. 7 to 11.

The west parking lot is closest to the outdoor field turf and baseball diamonds.

The east section of the parking lot will remain open for regular use.

“Community members are encouraged to consider taking public transportation or carpooling during this time frame,” said the Town of Oakville. “Thank you for your patience as we work to serve you better.”

The paving will take place weather permitting.
