Search continues for Oakville man missing in Lake Ontario

Marine and rescue units continue their search for a missing Oakville man in Lake Ontario this morning.

Eric Quimby of Oakville was last seen Tuesday and was expected to return to shore that day.

Late yesterday his boat was found in the waters near Rochester, New York. He was not onboard.

The 65-year-old is considered an experienced sailor and when he didn’t return to shore as scheduled emergency crews including the Halton Regional Marine Unit were called.
