Santa needs some help for this year’s Burlington parade

Santa is looking for some help.

Yes, it may be early, but the man from the North Pole needs participants for the year’s parade in Burlington.

Float entries, food vendors and entertainers are all needed to help on the big day which will be on Sunday, Dec. 1.

Interested parties can apply to be a part of the parade by going to Santa Claus Parade Float Entry – Burlington. Applications should be in by Oct. 18.

This year the parade will be following a new route, one that is shorter than previous years. This is being done to lessen the impact on businesses and residents who live in the area.

Again this year you can bring your letters to Santa. They will be collected by Canada Post workers along the parade route during the big day.

As well, donations to the Burlington Food Bank will also be accepted on parade day.
