Residents who live in the rural areas of Burlington will have a chance to have their say about local issues at an upcoming meeting.

Generally, those who live north of Dundas Street and are in Wards 3 and 6 are considered rural residents.

Members of City of Burlington staff will be in attendance to listen to concerns and answer questions about local programs.

Councillors for the area are also expected to attend.

The meeting takes place at the Kilbride Fire Station, 2241 Kilbride Street, on Thursday, Sept. 26 from 6 to 9 p.m.

Snacks and refreshments will be available as well as prize giveaways including trees native to the area.
