Drivers should expect delays on a major road between Milton and Halton Hills.
Halton Region, which annually resurfaces various roadways to maintain and extend their lifecycle, is planning to start works related to the resurfacing of Regional Road 25, between 17 Side Road and north of 25 Side Road, in Halton Hills.
Improvements will include road resurfacing, guiderail replacements, new pavement markings, minor ditch regrading and culvert cleanouts, and improved signage.
Here is some information provided by the Region to help local residents plan ahead for construction activity
Wherever possible, mitigation plans will be put in place to minimize disruptions. Here are some of the things the Region is keeping an eye on:

- Mail delivery: No changes or delays to mail delivery is anticipated. Advance notice will be provided if there are any changes.
- Night work and weekend work: Night work and weekend work may be required as part of this project.
- Traffic delays: This work may cause traffic delays; lane shifts or lane restrictions. Officials will make every effort to minimize any potential inconvenience. Emergency vehicle access will be maintained at all times.
- Truck traffic: You will notice occasional increases in truck traffic around the ongoing work. Please be aware and use extra caution while driving.
- Waste collection: Your garbage and recycling will continue to be picked up on your scheduled collection day.
