Road closed this weekend in Halton Hills for community street program

An upcoming road closure has been scheduled in the Town of Halton Hills.

In a post to X (formerly Twitter), Halton Hills municipal authorities indicated that the Tolten Park parking lot in the Limehouse area will be closed on Sunday, Oct. 27 from 2:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. for a community event.

ROAD CLOSURE NOTICE 🚧 Please be advised that Tolten Park parking lot in Limehouse will be closed on Sunday, October 27 from 2:30 P.M. to 5:30 P.M. for the purpose of the Hey Neighbour Play Street Initiative. The ‘Play Streets’ series — an ongoing collection of neighbourhood street incentives — is scheduled to take place within the area and will require the use of the parking lot for the duration of the slated time.

According to the Town of Halton Hills, this series allows children to play in these local street areas safely and in an unrestricted fashion — without the required need for organized games or matches.
