Road closed in downtown Oakville for roadwork

Downtown Oakville traffic may be a little heavier over the next couple of days due to a road closure.

MacDonald Road, between Reynolds Street and Allen Street, will be closed for roadwork from Thursday, October 31, 2024, to Friday, December 20, 2024.

Roadwork being done will see the installation of underground servicing for a Fernbrook Homes Development.

The detour route will be along:

  • Reynolds Street
  • Spruce Street
  • Allan Street

Local access will be maintained.
