The Town of Oakville is looking for feedback from the public to help shape its strategic priorities.

The draft Council Strategic Plan and 2023-2026 Action Plan is now available to review and the town is looking for residents to provide feedback to help guide Council decision making over the next four years.

The strategic plan outlines the vision, mission, guiding principles, strategic priorities and objectives, key community indicators and action plan as to what the community envisions for its future.

The development of Oakville’s Strategic Plan and 2023-2026 Action Plan includes input from town staff and leadership, community partners and residents to understand the wants and needs of our community, while intentionally seeking out diverse perspectives.

The plan also integrates an analysis of research, learnings and best practices based on municipal trends, with help from Deloitte Canada.

Residents can share their comments by emailing Sarah Lewis from Deloitte at [email protected] by June 30. The feedback will help inform the final plan, which will be presented to Council for approval on July 11.
