The Town of Milton is calling on the public to help steer transit options for the region’s future
Today (Oct. 17), municipal representatives indicated that they will be running a public engagement study to assess transport options from Main Street East from Fifth Line to Trafalgar Road in the Town of Milton.
The project has become formally known as the Main Street East Municipal Class Environmental Assessment.
A public engagement opportunity is now available for the Municipal Class Environmental Assessment study. This study is considering a range of multi-modal transportation alternatives to support future travel demand in Milton.

This incentive — built on 2018’s Transportation Master Plan — is designed to refine east-to-west transportation modules within Milton by applying ‘multi-modal’ incentives that match future transit demands.
Specifically, in this case, by improving connectivity in the Derry Green Corporate Business Park and Agerton Secondary Plan areas.
Milton residents can contribute to this study through the ‘Let’s Talk Milton’ online platform — with a submission deadline set for November 8, 2024.
