Repairs to municipal lot will limit parking in downtown Burlington

Starting next week, a parking garage in downtown Burlington will undergo repairs which may close off several spaces for vehicles.

The lot at 414 Locust Street needs maintenance work to help improve the longevity of the overall facility, according to the City of Burlington.

The work will take place starting Sept. 23 and last until November.

As a result of this work, there will be temporary closures of certain floors and spaces within the garage so contractors can complete the job.

If the garage is nearing capacity due to volume and closures, the next nearest lot to the parking garage is at 500 Locust Street.
