Rain washes out games at most Burlington fields

Rain has forced the closure of outdoor grass playing fields in Burlington today (Aug. 23).

This means that games scheduled for all grass multi-use fields and baseball diamonds are cancelled.

Outdoor fields with artificial turf, however, remain open for use.

Rain and wet conditions have also closed natural playing surfaces today in Oakville.

Team members are asked to check with their coaches for when games will be made up.
