Proposed plan would demolish, rebuild busy Oakville gas station

A busy Oakville gas station is getting a whole new look and adding an electric charge to its service.

Suncor Energy Inc. has applied to the Town of Oakville to demolish and rebuild the Petro Canada gas station located at the northeast corner of Dorval Drive and North Service Road.

The full site application also includes the addition of two electric vehicle charging stations and four electric vehicle charging spots.

The refuelling stations would be torn down and completely rebuilt and would include a new overhead Gas Bar Canopy.

Once approved, Suncor must secure a Building Permit within two years.

No timeline for the work has been provided.
