Prizes and raffles part of the enticement to encourage Burlington bike riding

Two Burlington agencies want you to get on your bikes and hope a little enticement will encourage you to start peddling.

On Saturday, June 3, BurlingtonGreen and the City of Burlington’s Sustainability and Transportation Department will kick off National Bike Month with a day full of activities and prize giveaways.

From 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., the two groups will be at the BurlingtonGreen Eco-Hub at Burlington Beach where they will be giving away cycling maps and games you can play with your two-wheeler.

As well, you will be able to spin to win with the eco/bike wheel where you will have a chance to claim some prizes.

Finally, you will be able to purchase raffle tickets that will help fund BurlingtonGreen and the prize is an E-bike.

The Burlington-Green Eco Hub is located at 1094 Lakeshore Rd (the red brick building between the playground and concession pavilion by the beach).
