A major power outage is affecting close to 3,000 homes and businesses in Halton Hills. 

A major power outage is affecting close to 3,000 homes and businesses in Halton Hills. 

Halton Hills Hydro says the outage occurred after a pole was hit during a vehicle collision. 

The outage is affecting the Town of Acton and is impacting 2,992 customers.

Halton Hills Hydro says power should be restored by 8:00 p.m.
